As always, the most frequent Autumn/Winter wardrobe reader questions haven’t been “how do I do the Dior catwalk on a high street budget?” Instead they’ve been “how can I look vaguely stylish in a life that involves a wet daily dog walk?” or “how can I look good when I live rurally and everyone else lives in walking gear?”
I do understand, especially the dog walking one, because the commitment to a pooch in midlife isn’t insignificant. Not only does it become a huge consideration when you’re thinking about any kind of travel but it’s also a daily wardrobe issue and (I’ll say it out loud) a big part of the winter grind.
