Advance notice - blogger clearout sale tomorrow!

A quick bulletin from me today just to give readers in the UK advance warning. I have been having a clearout and, after taking lots of bags to the charity shop, there were things that have hardly been worn. So I thought you might like them. Tomorrow I’m going to run a ‘blogger clearout sale.’

I have reached the point where I just have too many clothes. They are all lovely things that are hard to part with and I can’t think of anyone better to benefit from them than you. Oh – and a charity that is close to my heart.

I will be supporting Bloodwise which is a charity that funds research into blood cancers such as leukaemia and myeloma which have hit my family so badly. I am hoping that I will be able to make a donation on my big birthday as a way of being close to the people that I would have loved to celebrate with but can’t.

So, look out for the link that I will publish at 10am tomorrow morning (it isn’t quite ready yet). It will take you directly to the shop. It isn’t an auction, I have kept the prices low and when an item is sold it should disappear from the site. As you can imagine, most pieces range from a size 10 to size 14. Payment can be made by PayPal.

Charging for postage has been tricky so I’ve set a flat rate of £4.99. I hope you understand that if you buy more than 5 items, I will probably get in touch to ask you to pay a little more to cover it. I’ll rope the youngest in as a ‘willing’ slave and will aim to dispatch everything next week.

I apologise to readers who are overseas. It has been such a big job creating a shop that meets all the required security standards that I had to keep it UK only this time. If it goes well though I will do this regularly and my first goal next time will be to introduce international delivery.
