Fifty-nine, looking down the barrel of sixty

I think it's always worth taking some time to reflect as your birthday approaches and tomorrow I'll be 54 so that's what I'm doing. I'm usually looking back over a busy year of personal achievements peppered with standout moments but this one, of course, has been a little different.
